New Students
All new Brescia students receiving an offer of admission for summer or fall 2013 will receive a swipe card key to insert in the door of a showcase suite. Three of the keys we have distributed have big prizes attached. We invite you to book a tour of campus and try out your key. If your key opens the locked door of our showcase suite, you will either receive $2000 towards your meal plan in residence OR a free residence room. First try your key in the Showcase Suite door. If it works, you will be entered into our draw on June 3, 2013. See the Contest Rules for full details.
Second Chance Draw
All keys that do not open the showcase suite can be handed in for a draw to win $500 toward your residence room. You are invited to submit your key for the second chance draw until July 15th at 11:00a.m.
Can’t make it to campus to try your key? Don’t worry, contact Christine Barnard in the Registrar’s Office. Note, all out-of-province and international students will have instructions included in their offer of admission package on how to participate.

Returning Students
If you are a current student and plan to live in our brand new residence next year, we have a few enticements for you: Key to Free for Returning Students.
- If you decide to live in residence and submit your application before February 28, we will provide you with a $500 rebate towards next year’s meal plan.
- If you refer another student who is currently not in residence and who isn’t going to be a first-year student in September, both you and the student you refer will receive $500 towards your meal plans. If you refer two students, you will receive $1,000 off your meal plan. In fact, you can refer as many as eight students to a maximum of $4,000 off your meal plan. That’s a lot of good eating!
For each referral you make, you will receive one ballot towards a free room draw for the 2013-2014 academic year. The draw will take place on move-in day, September 1st. All referrals to be included in this draw need to be received by August 31, 2013. (Note: Don’t forget to identify who referred you at the time of your Residence application.)
